I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
Do you know anyone that has come through for you all the time? Can you depend on them constantly, day in and day out, day or night, always, continuously and have all the bases covered? I Do! Faithful and True TO HIS WORD is God Almighty through and through! God won’t let you down, EVER!.
In the book of Galatians chapter 5 verse 22, it says “But the Spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”
Do you realize that there are thousands and thousands of promises in the Bible?! When God makes a promise to you, just expect God to keep that promise no matter what because nothing is too hard for God. Impossible becomes Possible when God is in it. God is a Promise keeper!
It doesn’t matter if you need to catch Bus 22 since tardiness isn’t an option and one more pink slip would be more than enough. Getting accused of something that you didn’t do, but getting punished anyway is awful But later, everything straightens out and now you’re off the hook, whew! God is faithful in the tiny weeny stuff and monstrous messes too, He will answer you.
There is an amazing Bible story about a seventeen-year-old boy named Joseph, the dreamer. Joseph had dreams about his future, and he told his father and brothers all about it.
In the book of Genesis beginning in chapter 37 verse 1-11; “Jacob lived in the land of Canaan, where his father had lived. This is the family history of Jacob.
Joseph was a young man, 17 years old. He and his brothers cared for the flocks. His brothers were the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s wives. Joseph gave his father bad reports about his brothers. Joseph was born when his father Israel, also called Jacob, was old. So Israel loved Joseph more than his other sons. He made Joseph a special robe with long sleeves. Joseph’s brothers saw that their father loved Joseph more than he loved them. So they hated their brother and could not speak to him politely.
One time Joseph had a dream. When he told his brothers about it, they hated him even more. Joseph said, “Listen to the dream I had. We were in the field tying bundles of wheat together. My bundle stood up, and your bundles of wheat gathered around mine. Your bundles bowed down to mine.”
His brothers said, “Do you really think you will be king over us? Do you truly think you will rule over us?” His brothers hated him even more now. They hated him because of his dreams and what he had said.
Then Joseph had another dream. He told his brothers about it also. He said, “Listen, I had another dream. I saw the sun, moon and 11 stars bowing down to me.”
1 Joseph also told his father about this dream. But his father scolded him, saying, “What kind of dream is this? Do you really believe that your mother, your brothers and I will bow down to you?” Joseph’s brothers were jealous of him. But his father thought about what all these things could mean. (ICB)
But his siblings did mean things to Joseph which led him right in the middle of a bad situation. Joseph was falsely accused of terrible acts he didn’t do. Joseph experienced one bad thing after another. He was thrown into jail for years, forgotten by the outside world, but God never forgot. He was with Joseph every step of the way. God show up and showed out for Joseph, He never left him, and God will never leave you too. Trust God in all you do.
Read the whole story about Joseph the Dreamer, his incredible journey and God’s steadfast faithfulness in the book of Genesis chapter 37-45. You will be encouraged for sure! God had a plan for Joseph’s life in spite of its rocky start and in the end, it was all good!
And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
