I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.

In the book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, God created the whole wide world out of nothing! There was darkness all around. In the Bible scripture Genesis 1:3-5 it reads, “Then God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light. God saw that the light was good. So he divided the light from the darkness. God named the light “day” and the darkness “night.” Evening passed, and morning came. This was the first day.” (ICB)

Wow! God made that! Hold on, it’s only the beginning! I don’t know about you, but I really like staring up at the sky especially at night when there are so many stars and the bright moon illuminating the cosmos, whoa, what a mighty God! In Genesis 1:14-18, “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night. These lights will be used for signs, seasons, days and years. They will be in the sky to give light to the earth.” And it happened. So God made the two large lights. He made the brighter light to rule the day. He made the smaller light to rule the night. He also made the stars. God put all these in the sky to shine on the earth. They are to rule over the day and over the night. He put them there to separate the light from the darkness. God saw that all these things were good.” (ICB)

And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
