I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
Have you ever promised to do something and didn’t come through? Or has anyone ever promised to do something for you, and it didn’t happen? We may have the best intentions, but at times, things just don’t go as planned. Stuff just gets in the way. Did you know that God keeps all of his promises each and every time, God’s promises are genuine. You can depend on the promises of God. There are over 7,000 of God’s promises in the Bible. Whoa! Let’s check out some of them right now.
Has fear got a hold of you?
In the book of Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 it says, “So don’t worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you. I will support you with my right hand that saves you.” (ICB)
Feeling a bit unsettled?
Then go to the book of Isaiah chapter 26 verse 3, “You, Lord, give true peace. You give peace to those who depend on you. You give peace to those who trust you.” (ICB)
Then turn to the book of John chapter 16 verse 33, “I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble. But be brave! I have defeated the world!” (ICB)
Should I do this or that?
We all need guidance, so let’s read what God has to say about it in the book of Psalms chapter 32 verse 8, “The Lord says, “I will make you wise. I will show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.” (ICB)
In the book of Psalms chapter 37 verse 23-24, “When a man’s steps follow the Lord, God is pleased with his ways. If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord holds his hand.” (ICB)
Burnt out?
Let’s read the book of Matthew chapter 11 verse 28-29, “Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest. Accept my work and learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will find rest for your souls.” (ICB)
You will rise above your challenges when you stand on the promises of God! You will never be disappointed, only believe. In the book of Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31 it says,
“ But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will be able to rise up as an eagle in the sky. They will run without needing rest. They will walk without becoming tired” (ICB)
And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
