I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
God is Holy, the Final Authority, Wise, and Immutable… How do I know because the Bible shows me so…
God is Holy
In the book of 1 Samuel chapter 2 verse 2 it says, “There is no one holy like the Lord.
There is no God but you.
There is no Rock like our God.”
“Sing praises to the Lord, you who belong to him. Praise his holy name.” (Book of Psalms chapter 30 verse 4, ICB)
“Are there any gods like you, Lord? No! There are no gods like you. You are wonderfully holy. You are amazingly powerful. You do great miracles.” (Book of Exodus chapter 15 verse 11, ICB)
“Try to live in peace with all people. And try to live lives free from sin. If anyone’s life is not holy, he will never see the Lord.” (Book of Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14, ICB)
God is the Final Authority
In the book of Romans chapter 13 verse 1 it reads, “All of you must obey the government rulers. No one rules unless God has given him the power to rule. And no one rules now without that power from God.” (ICB)
“The whole world, earth and sky, will be destroyed, but the words I have said will never be destroyed!” (Book of Matthew chapter 24 verse 35, ICB)
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives. It is useful for correcting faults and teaching how to live right.” (Book of 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 16, ICB)
“Peter and the other apostles answered, “We must obey God, not men!” (Book of Acts chapter 5 verse 29, ICB)
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All power in heaven and on earth is given to me.” (Book of Matthew chapter 28 verse 18, ICB)
God is Wise
In the book of Daniel chapter 2 verse 20 it says,
“Daniel said:
“Praise God forever and ever.
He has wisdom and power.” (ICB)
“They were saying, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power, and strength belong to our God forever and ever. Amen!” (Book of Revelation chapter 7 verse 12, ICB)
“It is God who has made you part of Christ Jesus. Christ has become wisdom for us from God. Christ is the reason we are right with God and have freedom from sin; Christ is the reason we are holy.” (Book of 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30, ICB)
“His purpose was that through the church all the rulers and powers in the heavenly world will now know God’s wisdom, which has so many forms.” (Book of Ephesians chapter 3 verse 10, ICB)
God is Immutable
In the book of Numbers chapter 23 verse 19-20 it reads, “God is not a man. He will not lie. God is not a human being. He does not change his mind. What he says he will do, he does. What he promises, he keeps. He told me to bless them. So I cannot change the blessing.” (ICB)
“I am the Lord. I do not change. So you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed. (Book of Malachi chapter 3 verse 6, ICB)
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Book of Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8, ICB)
“So know that the Lord your God is God. He is the faithful God. He will keep his agreement of love for a thousand lifetimes. He does this for people who love him and obey his commands.” (Book of Deuteronomy chapter 7 verse 9, ICB)
GOD DOES NOT CHANGE.
