I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
God rules over all the earth… Here, now, and forevermore! God is the final authority over all creation. In the book of Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 it says, “In the beginning God created the sky and the earth.” (ICB)
In the book of Revelation chapter 22 verse 13 it reads, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,[a] the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (ICB)
- 22:13 the Alpha and the Omega The first and last letters in the Greek alphabet. This means “the beginning and the end.”
God owns it ALL!
In the book of Psalms chapter 24 verse 1 it states, “The earth and everything in it belong to the Lord. The world and all its people belong to him.” (ICB)
“The Lord has set his throne in heaven. And his kingdom rules over everything.” (Book of Psalms chapter 103 verse 19, ICB)
God is in control over the nations of the world not just people.
In the book of Proverbs chapter 21 verse 1 it reads, “The Lord can control a king’s mind as easily as he controls a river. He can direct it as he pleases.” (ICB)
“He changes the times and seasons of the year. He takes away the power of kings. And he gives their power to new kings. He gives wisdom to people so they become wise. And he helps people learn and know things.” (Book of Daniel chapter 2 verse 21, ICB)
God is the final authority.
In the book of Colossians chapter 1 verse 16 to 17 it says, “Through his power all things were made—things in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, all powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ. Christ was there before anything was made. And all things continue because of him.” (ICB)
“God will make that happen at the right time. He is the blessed and only Ruler. He is the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords.” (Book of 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 15, ICB)
God rules over our lives and destinies.
In the book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 it reads, “I say this because I know what I have planned for you,” says the Lord. “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.” (ICB)
We’re in the palm of God’s hand…
“God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them.” (Book of Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10, ICB)
God loves us.
In the book of John chapter 3 verse 16 it says, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.” (ICB)
HE REIGNS.
And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
