I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
Have you ever lost something which you cherished that when it was gone you had the worst ache deep down in your heart which was unbearable? Like your personal diary, a cool watch your father gave you, that vintage bracelet from your grandmother, a school book report which took weeks to complete which was a major part of your grade, your family pet who you loved so much and suddenly was not around anymore…
Loss and grief are two jabs that usually run together. But day by day the pain somehow got better. At first it hurt, then stung, and soon one day it went away slow as molasses. Oh, the discomfort showed up from time to time, but thank God, it doesn’t hang around anymore!
In the book of Psalms chapter 30 verse 5 it says, “His anger lasts only a moment. But his kindness lasts for a lifetime. Crying may last for a night. But joy comes in the morning.” (ICB)
Trust and believe God is right by your side to help you get through your sadness. If you get close to God by praying, He will come close to you…In the book of Psalms chapter 34 verse 18 it states, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those whose spirits have been crushed.” (ICB)
In the book of Psalms chapter 147 verse 3 it reads, “He heals the brokenhearted. He bandages their wounds.” (ICB)
In the book 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 3-4 it says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father who is full of mercy. And he is the God of all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble, so that we can comfort others when they have trouble. We can comfort them with the same comfort that God gives us.” (ICB)
Aah COMFORT…Call on the Lord God Almighty so you can experience the comfort that only He can provide…In the Book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 13 it states, “You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me!” (ICB)
When you have a heavy heart and hurt all over, know this… God will give you a time-out…In the book of Matthew chapter 11 verse 28 it reads, “Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest.” (ICB)
Don’t ever give up. There is hope. The sun will burst out; it’s just overshadowed by a cloud.
Never ever forget! Joy Comes in the Morning.
“You changed my sorrow into dancing. You took away my rough cloth, which shows sadness, and clothed me in happiness.” (Psalm 30:11 ICB)
It is true and it will happen for you too.
And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
