I love reading God’s Word and you should too, it’s your compass to get you through! In the morning, during the evening or maybe for a mid-day break, just pick up your Bible and read it every day.
In 1854, one of the earliest lifejacket’s on record was designed by Captain Ward, an inspector for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in England. This lifejacket model was made out of cork! Cork is a material that is buoyant, it floats so you won’t sink.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, then guess what? You are covered! You’re wearing your life jacket. You won’t go down into the murky waters of life’s adversities…Jesus’ got you! In the book of Galatians chapter 3 verse 27 it says, “You were all baptized into Christ, and so you were all clothed with Christ. This shows that you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” (ICB)
Then you are saved! You might ask, saved? Saved from being separated from God in this life and for all eternity, forever! In the book of John chapter 3 verse 16 it reads, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.” (ICB)
In the book of Romans chapter 10 verse 9 to 10 it states, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from death, then you will be saved. We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths to say that we believe, and so we are saved.” (ICB)
So, what do you need to do next? In the book of Romans chapter 10 verse 13 it says, “The Scripture says, “Anyone who asks the Lord for help will be saved.”[a] (ICB)

And God didn’t stop there…. More to come later. See you soon and in the meantime read the Bible for yourself.
